Port Adelaide Environment Forum


“Working together for the local environment.”

The Port Adelaide Environment Forum has been operating since 1992 providing the means for community members, local interest groups, and industry from Port Adelaide and surrounding areas to debate, be informed, and advocate on environmental, social, heritage, or development issues of local interest. Guest speakers present information on issues of significance to the area.

The Forum is supported by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield through advertising and administration and is regularly attended by Councillors.

The Forum is currently (April 2017) being supported by an informal group of community members organising speakers and field trips, while a new community Chair for the Forum is sought.

Forum meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month (March to November) at Town Hall, 34 Nile St, Port Adelaide .

The Town Hall provides wheelchair access and disability toilets

Meetings commence at 7pm, except in March and November if there are field trips and they begin at 6.15pm.
